From 6–9 May, Step One training was held in Manipur, led by EPW’s hub leader Sridharan Kalistas, supported by our hub co-ordinator Joyal Rajesh, who travelled from their bases in Southern India to Imphal. Despite the ongoing tension in the region due to ethnic rivalries and government policies, God graciously opened the way for fruitful ministry.
Around 50 pastors participated in the training, which focused on foundational truths of Christian identity, the nature of true conversion, and the sovereignty of God in salvation. Pastor Sunny played a key role in preparing and coordinating the event locally, and his efforts were instrumental in its success.
We give thanks for the warm response to the teaching and the hunger shown for God’s Word. Please continue to pray for the pastors in Manipur—that they would stand firm in faith, preach with clarity and courage, and be agents of peace and truth in a region under pressure.
